A very fast-growing and low-maintenance plant that can thrive in almost any aquarium. Instead of the flat and straight leaves of the regular Java Fern, this plant features intricate, lace-like leaves.

 

Also known as Java Fern Windelov, Java Fern Lace, Windelov Fern, and Lace Fern, this aquatic plant was cultivated from and shares many characteristics with the original Java Fern plant.  The difference is in the leaves, which have a more lacy and delicate appearance than do the straight and flat leaves of the Java Fern.  It is equally impressive to the Java Fern in its size, density, and its minimal care requirements.  Java Fern can thrive even in poorly lit aquariums, and in the right conditions it is a very aggressive grower, meaning it provides excellent waste removal from the water column.

 

This plant ships as one bunch with leaves up to 3 - 4 inches tall.  It can be planted all together under your substrate as one plant, or it can be separated into smaller pieces to spread the plant to different locations or among multiple aquariums.  The Java Fern mat in the picture is one that is planted in one of our personal aquariums, and is the same size we send to customers.  All of our plants are bright and healthy because they are kept in a water in a plant-dedicated tank rather than plastic packaging, which means your plant will arrive in top condition.
